Welcome! to the DWP PAC portion of the blog. Here we hope to keep you in the loop with things going on in and around the school and tips for the parents to help make the school day run smoothly.
We also welcome you to come to one or more of our PAC meetings where we always hear from Mr. Moorthy about the things happening at the school. My thought has always been that our kids spend more time at school with the staff and their friends than they do with us at home, so I like to know that the environment and happenings at the school are the best they can be for my kids. The high school years are hopefully that great experience they will look back at as some of the best times of their lives, and set them up for adulthood and the responsibilities that lie ahead. The PAC meetings are a great place to get more information about the school day - things that can help your child get the best out of their day.
Our Pac meeting dates for this year are Monday nights at 7 pm in the library - Nov 17, Jan 19, Feb 16, Apr 20 and Jun 1st. These dates are posted on the school website calendar.
At our last PAC meeting on Oct 20 we heard from Mr. Janzen about the great things going on in the Computer Technology classes and work still to be done. Also impacted by this is the school's wireless network hardware system that we are working with the staff and District to improve to the standards that will support the District's new Technology Plan. More information about the plan can be found here:

We hope you can come and join us on Monday night Nov 17 at 7 pm in the library. If you have anything to add to the agenda or have any questions or comments, please feel free to email me at [email protected]
